When these two aren't outside hiking or riding their bikes long distances, they are becoming an engineer and organizing community resource events in low income areas. I'm so excited these two wonderful people found each other and have decided to tie the knot!
We had fun in the rain today, I'm so happy they committed to a photoshoot without the optimal conditions. Living in Portland, you learn to continue on in the rain because you definitely can't plan around it.
Taking pictures with this family was too fun! The little man is a class clown, so he was fun to be around. As a doula I meet my clients in their homes, I hang out with them where they are most comfortable and get a sense of who they are. It's great getting to know families and experiencing birth with them as a doula.
There is a full spectrum of emotions right after birth, regardless of what is emoted, the expression is always raw, real and authentic.
In this woman's case, it was pure joy and excitement for her baby. Such a wonderful birth to catch!
We had some beautiful weather, and when you live in Portland you get out in the sun when you can!
As a friend group, we are trying to hike every Sunday. Some weeks it doesn't happen, but we're gonna hike more this year than we did last year :)
Angel's Rest is a great winter hike, it can be cold but the views never disappoint.
